The Power and Energy Systems Laboratory consits of faculty members of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Western Macedonia. The many years of teaching and research experience of the teaching staff, their scientific and research competence in the subjects treated by this Laboratory, as evidenced by their published scientific work, their participation in numerous national and international conferences, collaborations and research projects are guarantees of the expected high level of education of graduate students.

In the Power and Energy Systems Laboratory, the teaching staff will consist of faculty members of the Department and specifically, 2 Professors, 2 Associate Professors, 2 Assistant Professors, 3 members of the Department and 1 member of the Department. Postgraduate students, PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers will participate in the research activities of the laboratory.

Professor Georgios C. Christoforidis:

Dimitrios Vlachopoulos (electrical engineer – laboratory teaching staff): He holds a master in Applied Infromatics with specialization in Business Informatics from University of Macedonia and a bachelor in Electrical Engineering from Western Macedonia of Applied Sciences. His fields of expertise concern the laboratory applications of drive systems for electrical generation and storage.
